Eyelet Ridge Hat

Andrea Sanchez

I love to have a couple unisex accessories included in each collection, but that really can be easier said than done. When I brought that idea up to Kristen TenDyke, who also designed a great cardigan for Winter 2015, she came up with the cute and totally unisex Eyelet Ridge Hat.

This hat is knit in the every cozy Quince & Co. Finch in a rich color called Sedum. Kristen has included sizes for literally everyone. From newborn to a size 23.5" head circumference, wouldn't this be the perfect hat to make for your family?!

They eyelet and garter stitch pattern keep an otherwise simple hat from becoming too simple, and also keep the eyelet details (something normally only used in more feminine designs) from being overly girly. It is the perfect mix of casual and classic. And really, since they all use less than 440yds of fingering weight yarn, you can use up some of that leftover sock yarn stash you have hidden away (I know you have it! I do too).

We have a knit along coming up soon and these would make a great quick knit to work! If you are knitting this, please share it on Instagram using #knittinlittle and link it up on Ravelry
