One of the easiest ways to get kids interested in knitting or crochet is by starting them off on something that is a little easier. When I used to teach the summer program at a daycare I always had the kids making finger crocheted chains. I would pin them to their shorts and they would spend the rest period sitting in the grass crocheting away.
I would have loved to get my hands on a knitting loom for the kids and now here is your chance. At this summer's TNNA (The National Needlearts Association) Convention I was able to attend Marly Bird's Designer Dinner and this Boye Small Long Loom (affiliate link) was one of the awesome goodies we went home with. And now I'm sharing it with you!
You'll get not only the knitting loom but also 2 skeins of Red Heart yarn to get your little knitter started. Just leave a comment below by July 1st telling me who this fun starter kit will go to and I'll choose one random winner. Good luck!
