What I really love about this sweater is how it uses a simple shape (it's a top-down raglan) combined with all-over texture, to create a garment that is anything but simple. It begins with a SUPER-stretchy cast on that makes this perfect to go over the heads of wiggly littles, and fit nicely over a collared shirt or dress.
I'll even tell you a secret, I love this sweater so much that when D's Christmas Sweater wasn't done in time for our family pictures last month, I may have "borrowed" this one to stand in for the afternoon. I'm sure that my love for this little piece also has something to do with the gorgeous Lakes Yarn and Fiber Lochsa DK is was knit in. The color way is called Wapiti and has a lovely neutral, glowing sheen to it.
